MATHEMATICS. DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.

 

The paper collection contains articles on the theory of ordinary differential equations. Some related problems are investigated too. Main attention is paid to nonlinear boundary value problems. The second order nonlinear BVP, both singular and regular, are considered with respect to the existence and properties of solutions. The sixth and fourth order problems are discussed also. Several papers are devoted to the Fuchik spectra of the second, the third and essentially nonlinear problems. Report on the work of the section "Nonlinear BVP" of the annual (2006) scientific conference of the University of Latvia is presented. Abstracts of selected talks are given.

The paper collection is destined for researchers and students in the field.
